ABCW: No Love, Its Lust

PC: inspiration.com
I see that ruffled bed where you lay tonight
Every curve glowing in the moon light

Oh! Those breast and thighs
Just the thought of it makes my temperature rise

Your touch and turn
Makes my body burn

I want you so bad
I grab your hair & kiss you hard

Seeing you at the bar “Jingle”
Made my every nerve tingle

All I wanted to do, was take you to my bed
Forever together, is not what I ever said

For love, I have someone called as my my wife
You honey, have to know she is my life

Baby girl, I want you to know,Its not love
Its just lust on you, That makes me bow

Mag: Always There

On that fateful day, she had promised to meet him near the park, their usual meeting place.
He was very excited that morning. he was going to propose her. Finally, after 6 years of being together, it was very special for him. She was his first love.

He got her a beautifully cut solitaire ring.
It was raining. it was unusually heavy for this part of the town and his car broke down. He saw her across the street and ran to meet her with flowers in his hand.
A truck came, and all she saw was her man flying 5 feet from the ground.

The truck went away.
And there he lie, on the road, in the rain, with those flowers strewn around him.
She was shocked, she couldn't react. She found that ring in his picket before his funeral and broke down. She loved him with all her heart.

Today, she sits in this coffee shop where she spent hours talking to him. She has her laptop open with his smiling picture in it and tears in her eyes. Wishing she could hug him, and tell him how much she loved and missed him.
Little does she know, he was there with her always.

WODW: Walking Away

I leave the world behind ,and walk the path unexplored
Is there heaven or is there  hell?

Will this be better than the life I lived or will this be bad?

I walk in this path, Wishing someone would call for me
I walk in this path, Realizing there is no one who would look out for me

ABCW & APED: Kiss

Two Lips Meet
Every nerve in the body burns
The hand slips down to feel every curve, every contour
A small fire of passion ignites, and turns into a big roaring flame
When the kiss of Life happens

MFTS: Mango Tree

© 2015, Barbara W. Beacham
© 2015, Barbara W. Beacham
She lived in a mango tree
From the time she was three

With golden hair & blue eyes she was born
Like her mother who has been buried for long

Her step mother envious & ugly at heart
She killed her father and tore him apart

This golden girl she couldn’t harm
For she was protected by God’s own arm

That’s why she locked the girl on a mango tree
And swore that she will never go free

Years later, came a college guy
With a car, a bandana, a guitar music so high

He saw this beautiful young girl above
And fell so much in love

With music he confessed his feelings for her
And promised to save her from her stepmother

He called the cops & got the mother arrested
And freed his love, from the place she rested

Thus, here is a modern fairy tale

Of her who lived on a mango tree

Mag: Frosted

Sometimes, I sit alone and wish
What if things were different?

I see a moist glass
I see rains outside

I draw something on the frosted glass
While deep in my thoughts, without realizing where my fingers are moving to.
What I see when I came out of my thoughts was a free & a happy girl.

Then, I wish to be like the silhouette on the glass
I wish to be free & happy

Mag: House

As a kid I loved to build houses
I made so many for my friends
For their birds & their mouse

I wanted to build one beautiful house for my mom & dad
All said I was a crazy lad
I chose every wood, every interior carefully
All I wanted was to decorate it beautifully

Green walls, white french windows
A beautiful snow white door & a patio
A garden in the backyard & a pond I imagined

At 32 today, I see my dream fulfilled
I made the house for them like i imagined
I see smiles on my parents and eyes filled

I made a house, my parents made it a home
All that love, that has happened & yet to come
I promise myself today.
I would keep their face smiling & happy everyday

WOW: Inspiration

I was inspired to follow my dreams.
I went behind following it
And fell from the balcony
Then I realized I was sleep-walking

Sent from the hospital with a few fractures here and there

WODW: She goes

She is going, to the place where her love lives
After a heart break, she is going to take this dive

No one stop her, for she goes
After all her life's highs and lows

Though she tries but she can't hide all her joy inside
Keeping her fears aside
She can't wait to reveal
Showing the world how she feels

This time feels so right
There will be no more lonely nights
Beautiful days are here to stay
There will be smiles everyday

She is going to the other side of town
Leaving back, all the tears & frown

In my heart there is pain
Why? I can't explain
Maybe I have loved her too
Now there is nothing I can do

She is going, her love's way
Giving me a Goodbye wave
The worst pain that she gave
\My fault that i let her go away

BA-SS: I don't want to hide

I saw the gruesome video of the teenage girl being molested in Guwahati and saw her pictures being shared on Facebook, that video squeezed my heart so much so that I felt those hands on me. It brought goose bumps to me.

PC: www.indiandramaqueen.blogspot.com
Why? Maybe because I and every girl like me have seen it and faced it, gone through it
I have been reading every article I can get my hands on about that case, and all I can see is how shoddy our legal system is and how insensitive our media can be.
No one did think about how that girl would have felt, something inside her would have died.
Her confidence would have gone for a toss.
I know people would want juicy details but can anyone imagine how that little girl must have felt when she was groped, touched, rubbed, fondled, beaten, burnt with cigarette butts.

In a video I saw, the media guy actually had the audacity to ask the girl who just went through hell, a heart wrenching question "How did you feel when this happened to you?" what the hell does he expect she was a little teenage kid who in her own way was happy, confident, sweet like any college going kid.

There was an article I read about in a news site.
In the comments section an insensitive jerk of a man commented "what was the girl doing outside a pub at that time, how can she wear such a short skirt, I would never allow my daughters to do this.
This girl deserves it. It will teach every girl a lesson of how and when to go out"
I so wanted to strip this guy and castrate him right there and maybe stone pelt him..

Men out there do not just molest women in skirts or late nights.
It happens to any woman in skirt, jeans, salwar, and saree on even burkha at any time, even in broad daylight

An act of sexual violence may look small to the outside eyes, but it tarnishes a little self-esteem of a woman and the scars just remain there like an ugly wound.

Every time a girl speaks out, she is bombarded with questions
What did you do to cause this?
What were you wearing?
Why were you alone?
It was stupid of you to take the risk. Why does it happen to you only?
Where did they touch you?
Why don’t you wear, walk, live, study safer?

After a while the advice,” its good nothing more happened and it just a bad dream, forget it”
Forget it? How? It happened to me...It killed me...It destroyed my faith

How many times I have hid inside shops, got into strange buildings, and changed my daily routes and timings just to avoid vulgar stares or lewd comments or lecherous men in bikes and cars following me.
Why do I have custom myself
Why can’t the men respect women...
Would they do this to their mothers and sisters?
What gives them that guts to touch any woman and get away with it?

No Answers..

When I am writing this I was in a ladies compartment in a train...I looked around. I had tears in my eyes. I narrated the reason of my tears...after 10mins I noticed tears in few other eyes and gruesome, horrifying stories coming from every woman out there, and the age of the woman or her background was irrelevant then...the only thing that she was a WOMAN

Mag: Past

*sitting at the shrink's office in a hypnotic state*

My name is Melissa, I am 29 years old. I went to England for my honeymoon with my husband, we reached this beautiful National park in Greater Manchester. Somehow, this placed looked very known to me. A feeling of déjà vu washed over me.

I touched this gate, and started feeling dizzy. I saw soldiers on their horses charging towards we with their swords. Its raining and the ground is slippery. I try to run.
My family has crossed this gate. I see a lady in a peasant outfit with a scarf around her head calling me but she isn't calling me Melissa. She is calling me "Burnett".
I look down at myself, my clothes are tattered, wet and muddy. I have a badge on me, It says "343 Burnett Thorns"
I don't understand. I was wearing a pretty sundress and who is Burnett
I turn back to see a horse few meters away from me. I smile at that lady who is furiously crying now and close my eyes. I can feel the sword coming towards my neck.

*waking up screaming and all sweaty, I look around*

I am at the shrink's office in Canada.
My husband is siting right across me and my doctor is scribbling something in his notepad.

What happened? Who is Burnett? Who am I?
What was that?

FF: A Dedication to my Friend GJ

Seeing this picture, I can think of only one friend who is not in this world anymore.

She was staying in a house in the 4th floor. Her house windows did not have grills.
On that fateful Thursday evening, she was partying with a few friends and got drunk. She was loudly taking to a friend while sitting on the window sill, when she lost her balance and came crashing down 4 floors.
She broke her spine, crushed her pelvic bones and was critical for 2 days. She breathe her last this Monday.

Just wanted to tell her, that I miss her.
Rest in peace

I dedicate this post to my friend GJ

TT: Art

I think, blogging is an art.
PC: Pintrest
Not everyone is gifted to put their thoughts in words that others can associate with too.

Sometimes, such few words convey the writers state of mind, their lives, their friends, their opinions

I think, every blog has a personality of its own, it's unique and honest.
You know he blogger and at the same time you know nothing about the blogger. It gives a sense of known mystery.

Art of blogging is not just about showing people that you can write, it about making them see what you feel, even if they are seven seas apart.

3WW: Simple Pleasures

It is amusing to see how a little child gets deeply engrossed in a stupid elastic rubber band and laughs uncontrollable if it snaps, and gets back to playing with it again

Its gives us a simple lesson,

"Life is about simple pleasures, Enjoy it. Don't care if the world thinks that what you do is stupid, as long as you believe it is special, it is going to be special forever"

Mag & APED: 84 years

Photo Credits: Park Bench WPC by Wayne Ray(via Wikimedia Commons)
3rd July 2015
Dear Diary,

There is a park near my house. I used to see this old ragged looking woman coming every morning and sitting for about 2-3 hours in this particular bench below the banyan tree and kept a few peonies and 2 candies on this bench before leaving. This lady has been coming to this park for as long as I know.
This "candy-keeping" made me curious every time I saw her. So, today I walked up to her and asked, what's with the candy-peonies business. to that she said.

"Simon and I met here when we were 4, we had a fight on this very bench"
"I tore the button of his checkered shirt" she chuckled
"I felt so sorry for him, I got him these candies and  peonies, he loved them, we hugged and from then on we became best friends"
"we played together, studied together, and we fought a lot, and always patched up with these candies"
"We fell in love when we were 13, we held hands in this bench for the first time"
"I had my first kiss in this bench" she said with a faraway look

Then she pointed in the far end of the bench that had a carved heart with S & D written on it, she said 'Look, we even carved our initials, and said the day this carving goes, is the day our love shall fade"
We grew up, Simon joined the army, he was going away on a deputation, "we kissed our good bye here"
I waited so many seasons for him. And he came. He knew where to find me. I was here waiting for him with his favorite candies"
He proposed me on this bench with not roses but peonies

Pic Courtesy: Movie Titanic
"In our days, marriage was for keeps, we got married, on 10th December 1930. a beautiful dewy evening" she smiled to herself

"Simon again left for his deputation on Christmas the same year"
"And I come here because I know this is where he will come to find me"

She gave me a chaste smile a walked away holding her stick.

I am standing here with tears in my eyes, looking at the candies and flowers.
